It wouldn’t be the first time that I’ve tried to maintain a blog. Previous attempts have been focused too much on the current state my life is in. I’ve realized that what should be focused on the current state of affairs are the entries on the blog, not the blog itself. Sounds weird? Not to me. =)

I’ve also been wrestling with the ambition of having only one site where I publish everything I do – photos, blog posts, links and so on. With the help of my girlfriend I’ve seen the light. Wordpress is not a gallery tool. Smugmug is not a blog tool. However, they can both carry references to each other. So that’s what I’ve done now. What you’re looking at right now is my blog – what you could be looking at next is my photo gallery. Once in a while I’ll post entries here which point to galleries I’ve published on my gallery site, and when a gallery requires more than just a brief description I’ll most likely write about it on this here blog.
